A mother who had given the wrong name at the time of her first child’s birth is facing difficulties correcting the name on her daughter’s birth certificate. She already changed the name on all of her own official documentations. However, the Registrar of Births would not change the birth certificate. The mother had requested the name change because she was unable to obtain a passport for her daughter.
