Litigation support firms in Los Angeles often provide various services to law firms. One of their functions typically is document preparation. Part of their job is to get foreign-language documents translated into English. Lawyers who speak English only cannot review those documents unless they or the litigation support firm has rendered certified translation services and organized the documents to figure out which parts are relevant to the case. We take instructions from our clients who inform us what they are looking to translate. Our suggestion is that you scan and email us only the parts that have to be translated. We sometimes receive inquiries from individuals who would like parts of documents to be translated. While for non-certified translations we can gladly accommodate their specific needs, when we are asked for a certified translation we have to be cautious about translating partial documents. Since we will be attaching a copy of the original document to the translation, we will have to translate documents in their entirety.
