The Translation of a Legal Document for Courts

Individuals who are preparing to present a case in courts of San Francisco should double check all the documents they want to use in the trial for any text that is not in the English language. Lawyers and the parties they represent who have a document in a foreign language should seek legal translation services before they have to appear in court. Once they have put together all the documents that they will need, they should go through all the pages to make sure every word appears in the English language. The original document in a language other than English cannot be used for this purpose. Likewise, if part of a document is in a foreign language it probably needs to be translated.

California Center for Translation & Interpretation cannot figure out what documents you will need to take to court with you. We focus on the translation of documents that you submit to us. We offer unmatched legal translations for documents that you want to take to court with you. We will just need you to inform us that you need the translations to be court-certified. If you leave this information out we won’t assign the task to a court-certified translator. Therefore, please be sure to mention to us that you will be taking the translation to a court in California. Once you have figured out which legal document you want to translate from a foreign language into English, please scan and email us all the pages. Although we can accommodate rushed projects, we highly recommend that you contact us as soon as you know which documents you will be taking to court.

Our translators who specialize in the translation of legal language can handle rushed translations without issues. They try to translate the pages by the deadline you specify.
